Experience
Mike Lee, the Acting in English teacher founder and visionary, has years of experience in the performing arts as a practitioner, actor, director and dramatist. He taught Literature, English Language and Drama in International Schools and Academies for many years before setting up the school. We bring practical, real-world insights into our classes. Mike has experience in theatre, film, and drama education, providing students with the tools to succeed on stage and beyond.
Qualifications
Mike has a Drama Degree from La Escuela del Actor, in Valencia itself and a post-graduate in Education from Nottingham University, as well as being trained by some of the most prestigious practitioners in the Performing Arts world, including Yevgeni Mayorga, Pau Pons, Toni Augusti, Xavo Gimenez and Maria Jose Peris.
Founded 2018
The school began as an extra-curricular activity for kids in 2018 and very quickly turned into a successful way to teach English to Spanish kids through drama. As the variety and age range of classes grew, Valencia’s go-to Performing Arts school became a cultural hub for English-speakers and a reference for English-speaking residents. The school has established itself as a welcoming space for anyone passionate about drama, from beginners to seasoned performers.
